We have been bow hunting for 40 years and have sampled about every broadhead on the market both fixed and expandable. We shot some elk with Muzzy Trocar HBX's and they did a fine job but even on perfect hits we couldn't get a pass through. After lots of review we to the Hyde broadhead and have had exceptional results on all game. Big time results with this broadhead. Literally the best flying, bone crushing design on the market today. Thanks a million, glad we crossed paths.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience—40 years of bow hunting wisdom carries serious weight, and we’re honored that Hyde broadheads earned your trust. Hearing that they delivered pass-throughs and crushed bone on all game is exactly the kind of feedback that fuels our passion for innovation. We’re thrilled that you’ve seen “big time results” and we’re just as glad our paths crossed. Here’s to many more successful hunts ahead!
Amazing!!!
I’ve shot two animals so far this year with the Hyde 125gr broad head. First was a mule deer that I shot through the heart, needless to say any broad head would do the job but I was still impressed with the cut through the heart and the body. The second animal was an elk, she ended up jumping my string as I drew back at the wrong time, but anyways I ended up hitting her back through the top of one lung and the liver, she ended up dying within 30 seconds and only made it about 50-60 yards from where she was hit. Walking up to her and seeing where my arrow hit and how fast she died made me a true believer in that these broad heads one can put on the end of their arrow. If I had a different broad head on, I might have ended up waiting a few hours and having to blood trail hundreds of yards. As a bow hunter you owe it to the animal to expire them quickly especially on not perfect shots and these broad heads provide just that. After a few years of switching broad heads every year or more I’ve finally found the one I’m most confident with and will be using them from here on out.
I shot 4 deer this past week using the Evolution Hyde for the first time. All 4 were double lunged and I watched them all tip over within 15 seconds top. I was extremely impressed with both entrance and exit wounds it was leaving and just how much trauma they cause! The Hyde will be staying in my quiver for a long time!
These broadheads are devastating. I’ve killed a turkey and a mule deer with them and they leave such gruesome wound channels. The turkey died where it was hit and the mule deer went less than 50 yds. Best part is they fly just like field points.
