Just got my New Mexico bull 70 yards off of a 70ft cliff
Quartering away and hit high ribs, exited just behind shoulder and went completely through front quarter. I can shoot it again today if I needed
Bull made it 20 yards and collapsed on its head
I just ordered 6 more to make sure I have more than I’ll need
Congratulations and thank you for sharing!
As soon as I saw these were available I bought a blade pack to take on my first archery (cow) elk hunt. They arrived just in time. I installed them and built a sight tape with Precision Cut Archery and a garmin chrono. At 0 yards I saw a loss of about 3.5 fps and at 60 yards I saw a loss of about 6.2 fps compared to the practice tips. They grouped very well!
I took a quartering away shot at 62 yards on a cow elk, the arrow went under the right ribs and hit the left leg in its way out. The cow elk was dead in less than 10 seconds, and the blades only had a few nicks in them. I am very happy with the results!
Thank You, Colter – And Congratulations!
